By immersing guests in a Mediterranean atmosphere, they seek to make you a part of a magical, timeless world that starts with the name and recalls beginning with a decor showcasing the oriental items that are found regularly inside a Damascene home, fancy porch & flashy copper doorbells, and small rickety doors featured on the plain walls.  Beautifully decorated little alcoves known as ‘Dakouneh’ or ‘Mishkat’ are carved into the courtyard walls, providing a ledge for lanterns to sit on at night and sheltering their flames from the wind.
